In focus: MOON.
Designed by Davide Groppi in 2005, MOON translates the idea of bringing the moon indoors into a luminous form. Its handmade Japanese paper surface gives each lamp individual character. The collection includes suspension, table and floor versions; consult the manufacturer’s current specifications for the selected model.
Give a statement piece room to work.
For a dining space, compare the fixture’s scale with the table and the surrounding room. In an entrance or living area, consider sightlines from adjacent spaces. The goal is to give the piece a clear role while coordinating it with the rest of the lighting.
Soft decorative light and practical illumination serve different purposes. Plan supporting layers for reading, food preparation or artwork, and discuss how dimming should change the room for everyday use and entertaining.
